Honeoye
Honeoye is an early variety, about 6 to 10 days earlier tan Elsanta. The strawberry is big, darkred, equal in form and it has a delicate flavour. The storage life of Honeoye is good and the fruit is suitable to be frozen. You can even make an earlier start with Honeoye when covering the plants with thin cloth or plastic film. Honeoye has shown a good tolerance to Root Rot and Powdery Mildew, but is not so tolerant to Verticillium Wilt.
