Frigo plants
The frigo plants come from our own EE plants, and are planted around April. The harvest starts as soon as the plants are resting, mostly from the end of November on. The plants are harvested in boxes and transported to the shed for further proces. There they are sorted out on the thickness of the rhizoom. After that the bunches are gathered and wrapped up in boxes by ourselves. By doing so we have a close watch over neatness and the way of sorting out. The frigo plants are sorted out into two sizes, unless the wishes of the client are otherwise.The plants are cooled and preserved at –1,80C. By means of the boxcards we can exactly locate which stock is where from and gathered at which moment.
